We’ve been hiring and developing sales professionals in Philadelphia since 2012. In that time, we’ve learned something that might surprise you: the candidates who thrive here aren’t always the ones who look best on paper. And the ones who struggle aren’t always the ones you’d expect.

Work Ethic Over Experience

We don’t require prior sales experience. In fact, many of our strongest performers had never worked in sales before joining STC Direct. What we can’t teach — and what we look for from day one — is a genuine willingness to work. Not just show up, but put in the effort to learn, improve, and push through the days when things don’t go perfectly. If you’ve demonstrated work ethic in any area of your life, that matters to us.

Coachability

Our management training program is built around feedback. We give a lot of it — because that’s how people grow. The candidates who advance fastest aren’t always the most naturally talented. They’re the ones who take feedback seriously, make adjustments, and come back the next day better than they were.
