Phillip grew up in the small town of Warroad, Minnesota on the Canadian border. He graduated from Northland Community and Technical College in Thief River Falls, Minnesota with an Associate of Science degree in Criminal Justice.

Having grown up in Warroad, the original Hockeytown USA, hockey had a huge place in his heart. After playing through Junior A hockey, then becoming a referee for the game, Phillip wanted more. Goal: Pass on the opportunity to succeed to others, just like the opportunity has been passed on to me, and own my own hockey club.

Brian Ferguson

Brian Ferguson

Manager

A shy child, Brian recalls having to work at being social but finally mastering it by taking frequent trips to the mall with friends. When he moved to the Northwest side of Pennsylvania at 13, Brian dived into activities such as football, chess club, and even worked on his schools’ farm for 2 years (fun fact – Brian got his green thumb from his grandma). The shy boy now had the gift of gab!

At 18 when his mom gave him options to go to school, join the military, or work, Brian immediately dove into the work force with Vector Marketing! Learning the arts of persuasion, negotiation, and strategic leadership led Brian to work for Comcast for 3 years – a client that taught him about professionalism and generating results. Following Comcast, Brian spent time working with Vivint Home Security – widening his sales experience to include business-to-consumer and retail fields!

When he’s not working, Brian LOVES traveling (he’s been to 32 of the 50 states), spending time with his significant other of 5 years, shooting pool, playing card games, and hanging out with coworkers!

Saul Lopez

Saul Lopez

Assistant Manager

Saul was born in Andalusia, Spain, and lived in many cities across the United States. As a child, he was extremely introverted and a huge bookworm. During school, getting involved in sports, he played football, baseball, and wrestled and become more of an extrovert.

Saul’s interest in sports paled in comparison to his true passion, architecture. He went on to earn a degree in architecture on a full-ride scholarship. Saul gained experience as a Junior Architect and decided to open up his own business doing custom mill-work.

After seven years of running a successful business, he realized that family was more important than working 120 hours a week. After searching for a new job and seeking out related companies, he found STC Direct.

Saul’s time with the team has been nothing but positive and productive, largely in part because of the team’s mentality. The culture is one of his favorite aspects of STC Direct. His goals are to get promoted and open up his own office. His advice to others in the industry is simple, this is an opportunity for you to grow, so embrace that. There is such organic growth within the company, you just have to give it time and work hard.

Zachary Fedele

Zachary Fedele

Assistant Manager

Zachary Fedele is from Westchester, NY, and a graduate of Villanova University, receiving a bachelor’s degree in Criminology in 2016. Zachary enjoys anything that gets the adrenaline pumping, whether it be roller coasters, scary movies, bungee jumping (which he wants to do more of), or a good video game. He also loves to travel with his family and has been to many different countries including Italy, Ireland, Egypt, Turkey, Iceland, and the Caribbean. Although he’s away from my family at the moment, he plans to return to New York at some point. One of Zachary’s main “whys” is to retire his family, which consists of providing for his mother and grandmother and beginning a legacy. His family consists of many hard-working individuals and it is only fair to give back and to live freely as a result of his efforts.

Zachary has been with STC Direct for a year now and is continuously learning and enjoying the work environment. Let’s not forget he enjoys spending time with his team and coworkers! He’s worked at a few other jobs and they did not have the supportive and empowering environment that he was looking for. However, Justin makes him feel right at home and is always pushing him that much closer to reach his goals.

His favorite quotes include: “Work hard in silence; let your success be your noise.” – Frank Ocean and “Integrity is doing the right thing, even when no one is watching.” – C.S. Lewis
