STC Direct is hiring entry-level account executives across the Greater Philadelphia metro and South Jersey. Account executives at STC Direct manage client relationships in the field — building territory, growing existing accounts, and mentoring junior sales reps. We promote into AE roles from within; new hires from sales rep roles typically move into AE within their first six to twelve months.

What Does an Entry-Level Account Executive Do at STC Direct?

Our account executives are the relationship managers and territory builders. The role includes:

Owning a portfolio of client accounts within an assigned territory
Growing existing accounts and identifying new opportunities
Coaching and mentoring junior sales reps
Hitting territory revenue and growth targets
Representing STC Direct at client events and conferences

Do I need prior account management experience?

No. Most of our AEs were promoted from sales rep roles. We are also open to outside hires with customer-facing experience in retail, hospitality, or other client-facing industries.

Is this an inside or field role?

Field. Our AEs travel within an assigned territory to meet clients and prospects in person. Reliable transportation is required.

How big is the territory?

Territory size varies by market and tenure. New AEs typically start with a focused territory inside one of our seven local markets (Philadelphia, King of Prussia, Ardmore, West Chester, Valley Forge, Bucks County, or Camden) and grow from there.

What is the next step after Account Executive?

Most AEs grow into Senior AE and then into our Management Training program, with a path to running an STC Direct office.

Is this full-time or part-time?

Full-time, Monday through Friday, with occasional travel for team events and client meetings.
